Buffy’s back

The WB network is relaunching online. While many people may not care, knowing that Buffy the Vampire Slayer can be viewed online is quite exciting for me. In fact, I’m just sitting here saying Woo Hoo.

We all know that I’m quite a fan of the Buffy show and this is good news for people looking to not work on their computers. The WB apparently is relaunching as an online-only network. Neat idea.

Anyway, I signed up for the beta program… so who knows? Maybe Anya will be coming to my desktop in the near future.

Wheel of Fortune!

Fred Posner Wheel of FortuneBack from a great weekend visiting family in Eugene, OR for my cousin’s high school graduation.

I believe that the reason running is so big in Eugene, OR is that running is actually faster than driving in Oregon. I have never driven on roads with drivers so happy to drive so slowly. It was truly amazing.

On the way back to Gainesville, I stopped of at the Vegas airport where I’m up $40.00 from my favorite slot machine, Wheel of Fortune

Great trip, but also great to be back in my bed.

The countdown to weekend in NYC begins now.

Eugene, Day 2

My sister and her boyfriend landed today and within 5 minutes Mom was already talking about their wedding. :)

We attended a Saturday Market in Eugene where I believe the population of freaks to non-freaks was maybe 12 to 1. Very freaky. Very, very freaky. My dad and I witnessed this guy having a really bad trip and decided to maybe try a different area. Before we knew it, we were in the Sasquatch Festival.

We ended up going down the street and having a beer. :)

Heading out to Eugene, OR

Fred at the Charlotte AirportSo I’m flying the trip from Hell this weekend to visit my cousins in Eugene, OR. Will be great to see them, and to get there I will fly from Gainesville to Charlotte… Charlotte to Phoenix… Phoenix to Eugene… then Eugene to Las Vegas… Las Vegas to Charlotte… and Charlotte to Gainesville.

I’m on leg one and when I landed in Charlotte, the power went out. So, after about 10 minutes all the computers came back on and 60 minutes later the air has yet to return. It’s a full flight, so I pitty the person who gets to sit next to Mr. Sweaty Fred.

I did download a movie to the iPhone so hopefully the next flight may seem a little better. Oh, the shirt? In honor of my good friend and fellow Voip Tech Chat buddy, Patrick. (By the way, new podcast was posted this week)
