Hi mom. We are outside!

Crossing the Everglades now and should reach mom and dad’s in an hour. I’ll wake Yeni soon and show her the glades.

Yeni fell asleep a little bit ago. Should be in Ft Laud before 4PM.

I have learned that when traveling with Yeni I need to take more breaks than when traveling myself. Of all the places we’ve had to stop, this one had the best view.

Woke up this morning around 8am, and we visited the Gainesville DD. Two coffees later and we are headed to south florida. Yeni has never been to the everglades, so we are taking the long way. Oh, in case Mami is reading we are bringing a little something.

The plan was (originally) to quickly stop by the house in Gainesville, check on it’s condition, and continue on to South Florida. The new plan is to arrive in Hogtowne around 2 AM and crash for a few hours. Our day started at 3 AM in Ann Arbor, so a little rest will be nice. Yeni’s set on driving until she hits Florida so she can have driven all through Georgia....

I napped from north Georgia through Atlanta while Yeni drove with Juanes as her co-pilot. I’m very ready to keep the iphone as a data/media player and get a new device for phone calls. I can blog (for example this post is courtesy of the iPhone), tweet like a bird, send/receive emails, play with facebook, surf the web, and more. But when it comes to phone calls; forget about it. I consistantly have drops, missed calls, and silent periods....

We arrived in Chattanooga, TN around 5 PM to join Patrick, Jessi, and Fat Baby for dinner. Yeni and I shared the “pasta lovers” plate which was loaded with great meat and mushrooms. After enjoying a cannoli for dessert, Yeni took over driving and we’re now in Georgia. With luck we will be in South Florida within 15 hours.

Had a great breakfast with Yeni’s friend Maria Fernanda. We are now headed to diner with Patrick and I get to drive true those amaizing mountains. I can’t wait to show Yeni.
